Information: When the ten 605's were delivered, the were assigned the the depot of Landen the go on duty on the unelectrified lines in the surroundings. On January the 17th 1965 the dieselcars moved towards the depot of Haine-St-Pierre, there they replaced the dieselcars type 554. During the late 70's, many lines got electrified and therefor the 605's, now 45's moved again, this time to Bertrix, there final depot. This happened between 1980 and the 17th Juny 1984, the introduction of the famous IC-IR. At Bertrix they assured together with serie 44, all services to Dinant, Bastogne and Virton. Both series 44 an 45 were all replaced bij the new diesel multiplied unit serie 41 in 2002,... the end of the 44/45. Some dieselunits are preserved by organisations: 4505 by the SNCB (Belgian Railways), 4506 by TSP-PFT, 4403 by SCM, 4405 by SCM (parts for 4403) and the 4407 by CFV3V. Our MSTS version of the serie 45 has been build with TSM Train
Sim Modeler. This model uses at this moment the cabview of the AR41 by MS
Trainstop. The sideview are already original from the 4506. The model has
it's own passengerview, sounds by Stoomfan, animated transmissions, wipers. Enjoy the model !!
